Il team tedesco annuncia il giovane talento britannico come primo innesto dell’Audi Driver Development Programme
Pochi giorni dopo aver svelato la livrea 2026, Audi inizia a lavorare per garantirsi una stabilità nella massima categoria. Poche ore fa, tramite un comunicato ufficiale, la casa dei quattro anelli ha ufficializzato Freddie Slater come primo pilota del programma di sviluppo giovani.
Classe 2008, tra i più giovani e promettenti talenti del panorama motoristico europeo, compirà nel 2026 il passo decisivo nel campionato di Formula 3 con Trident, sotto l’egida del programma di crescita del neonato team tedesco, che si assicura così un ricambio futuro di qualità cristallina.

Nelle pagine del comunicato ufficiale Audi, emergono parole di grande speranza e ammirazione nei confronti del pilota inglese, da parte del direttore del programma giovani Allan McNish: ““In Freddie, we see the immense potential of a future star. His track record is
remarkable, but more importantly, he possesses the focus, determination, and willingness to learn that are essential for reaching the pinnacle of our sport. He is the ideal candidate to be the first signing of the Audi Driver Development Programme, and we are committed to providing him with the tools, mentorship, and support he needs to succeed as he steps up to Formula 3 with Trident Motorsport. This is the first step in building our future on and off the track.“
