Doctors at Kuala Lumpur Hospital have officially authorized his medical transfer to Switzerland — a decision that confirms the progress made in recent weeks, even though the situation remains delicate and will still require time and patience.

The operation will be managed by Rega, the Swiss air rescue service, which coordinated the transfer with Malaysian medical staff. Dettwiler is expected to land in Zurich late in the evening and will be taken immediately to a specialized facility, where he will undergo another surgery on his leg before beginning the rehabilitation phase.
