The grid at Interlagos promises fireworks: McLaren and Mercedes up front, Ferrari hunting close behind, and Verstappen forced into a massive comeback!
Lando Norris claimed pole position for the Brazilian Grand Prix with a stunning 1:09.511, edging out Mercedes’ young sensation Kimi Antonelli by just 0.174 seconds.
Third place goes to Charles Leclerc, keeping Ferrari in contention just 0.294 off the pace. Oscar Piastri follows in fourth, slightly disappointed after a costly Sprint Race mistake that hurt his championship battle with teammate Norris.
A standout performance came from Isack Hadjar, securing fifth with the Racing Bulls, ahead of George Russell, Liam Lawson, and an impressive Oliver Bearman in the Haas. Rounding out the top ten are Pierre Gasly (Alpine) and Nico Hulkenberg (Kick Sauber).
Among the disappointments were Fernando Alonso, Lewis Hamilton, and Carlos Sainz — all eliminated in Q2 — but the biggest shock came from Max Verstappen, knocked out in Q1 after a frustrating session with virtually no balance or grip in his Red Bull.
