Charles Leclerc’s words in Barcelona at the end of the testing session are encouraging and give Ferrari fans plenty of hope
Positive remarks. Charles Leclerc’s statements, following his morning run behind the wheel of the SF-26 at Montmeló during the first 2026 tests, are undoubtedly a strong signal of optimism for Ferrari and its supporters.
After Lewis Hamilton’s upbeat comments and the good sensations Leclerc himself reported yesterday, the Monegasque driver once again shared positive feedback today regarding the feelings he experienced during this final day of testing in Barcelona.
Leclerc’s Comments: “We Pushed a Bit More”
Speaking to Sky Sport UK at the end of Day 5 of the Spanish test, held behind closed doors, Leclerc reflected on the programme and the work carried out so far by the team:
“We completed our programme, we did everything we wanted to do”.
“Today we pushed a little more, and it was nice to feel the limit of this car and to understand it a bit better. This shakedown has been positive. Once again, everything went well“.
It is worth noting that the Ferrari driver set the fastest time in the morning session, completing an impressive 79 laps at the wheel of the SF-26 — a car that, at least so far, appears very promising.
