After a very difficult 2024, the team led by James Wolves finished last season in fifth place behind Scuderia Ferrari, bringing several podiums to Groove, signed by Carlos Sainz. Looking ahead to the challenges of the new year, Williams’ team principal was optimistic, despite the early stage of this season, and stated:
2026 is the next step in the journey back to the top for the Atlassian Williams F1 Team as we enter a new era for the sport, and we are excited for the season ahead.”

We have a great driver line-up, some new and fantastic partners, a fan base that continues to grow, and we want to build on the success tasted last year, but we are not naïve about the challenge ahead of us. No one knows exactly what will happen at the first race, but we can’t wait to find out, and we hope our fans will love supporting us with this fantastic new livery,” Wolves continued.
