In Brazil, the rookie from Team Red Bull KTM Ajo shines: strong one-lap pace and solid race rhythm allow him to immediately take the lead over his rivals.
After a full hour of waiting, the second race weekend of the season can finally begin! The setting is the new Goiânia circuit, a track unknown to all the riders on the grid. Due to bad weather, adapting to the circuit won’t be easy, but from the very first laps of FP1, Moto3 has already shown it is ready.

Despite the Brazilian storm, some riders managed to stand out thanks to a strong pace: Guido Pini led the first half of the free practice session, while in the final minutes it was Brian Uriarte who became the rider to beat. The rookie from Team Red Bull KTM Ajo set the fastest lap of the session in 1:32.812, putting three tenths between himself and Quiles (2nd), who is chasing. A very good session as well for Esteban (3rd) and Pini (4th), while from Buchanan (5th) onward the gap to the leader is already over one second.
The adverse weather greatly affected the riders’ performances on track, with many struggling to match the pace of the front runners: only 10 riders finished the session within two seconds of Uriarte!
