After the “Pothole-Gate,” the riders are ready for the Saturday race: here’s the STARTING GRID for the MotoGP Sprint in Brazil!

It’s a very different Saturday than usual: not only is the circuit new, but there are also uncertainties. The MotoGP Sprint almost didn’t happen due to the incident on the straight a few minutes ago, but fortunately the race will take place (at 19:20 instead of 19:00).

How the qualifying went

Fabio Di Giannantonio takes the first historic pole position for MotoGP back in Brazil, ahead of Marco Bezzecchi, completing an Italian 1–2 at Goiânia. Marc Marquez is third, followed by Fabio Quartararo and Jorge Martin, while Pecco Bagnaia ends 11th after a difficult qualifying. In Q1, Bezzecchi set the fastest time, with Di Giannantonio confirming himself in Q2, while home riders Moreira and Morbidelli were eliminated.

The Q2 session saw multiple crashes: Bagnaia, Acosta, and Marquez went down early, having to return to the pits for a second bike. On the second runs, Jorge Martin and Di Giannantonio also crashed while aiming for purple sectors, making qualifying even more eventful and proving the Brazilian track is a challenging test for riders and bikes alike.
