A new brand under Max Verstappen’s name: it will focus on sim racing, a major passion of the Dutch driver
It’s no secret that Max Verstappen is exploring new ventures, and today there’s further confirmation: the former Team Redline is rebranding and will now carry the name of the Dutch champion himself.
With a statement reading, “New name, new logo, same team. Introducing: Verstappen Sim Racing,” the new identity of Super Max’s squad has officially been revealed to the world.
No more Team Redline, then, but a structure increasingly tied to the Hasselt family: the logo features a lion, the same symbol that the number 1 driver wears on his helmet.
Max Verstappen’s words
Max Verstappen, founder of the team, said: “Sim racing is a big passion of mine outside of Formula 1, and Team Redline has been a key part of that. It’s where I spend a lot of my time away from the track, and it’s part of what I’m building with Verstappen Racing. This move to Verstappen Sim Racing feels very natural.
We’re taking everything we’ve achieved and aligning it more with the wider Verstappen Racing platform. I’ve always believed that sim racing can develop real talent, and we’re already seeing that with Chris Lulham. I’m really excited to keep building on the team’s success and see what the future holds.”
