Here are our Fanta MotoGP tips for Austin: back-to-back weekend for MotoGP!
After the Brazilian Grand Prix in Goiânia, MotoGP heads straight to the United States for the 2026 Grand Prix of the Americas. Austin represents one of the most interesting weekends of the early season, also for GPK Games fantasy managers, thanks to a track historically favourable to several riders and a championship standings that is still very open.
If the first two races – according to paddock discussions – were characterised by a different tyre carcass, Austin marks a return to a more “normal” scenario for MotoGP, where we could see the competitive order already seen during 2025.
Top Riders: Austin is Marc Marquez’s Track
Austin, as we all know, has historically been Marc Marquez’s territory. The Spanish rider dominated the Texas circuit for years and remains the main candidate for victory, especially after finishing fourth in Goiânia — a result that likely didn’t satisfy his ambitions of a tenth world title.

Marquez therefore becomes an almost mandatory choice for Fanta MotoGP. The king of COTA will once again try to dominate the weekend. Challenging him will be Marco Bezzecchi, current championship leader and coming off four consecutive victories.
Also keep an eye on Jorge Martin, second in Brazil and currently second in the championship. Aprilia is showing strong competitiveness, and Martin now seems firmly in the fight for podium positions.
Possible Surprises This Weekend
Among the most interesting choices for Austin is Alex Rins. Long-time MotoGP fans will remember that the Spanish rider has won twice at Austin, although Yamaha currently doesn’t seem strong enough to consistently fight for the top 10.
However, given his low cost, Rins could represent an interesting gamble for fantasy managers looking for a potential low-budget surprise.
Also watch out for Honda, coming from a solid weekend in Goiânia and a positive start to the season.
Watch the Championship Standings
After two races, the standings remain very open:
- Bezzecchi – 56 points
- Martin – 45 points
- Acosta – 42 points
- Marc Marquez – 34 points
This means Austin could already represent a key turning point in the championship, increasing the importance of Fanta MotoGP choices.
