A heavy and unusual crash for Marc Márquez during FP1 at the MotoGP round in Austin. The Spanish rider crashed at high speed in Turn 10, sliding first into the gravel and then into the barriers, remaining kneeling on the ground for several seconds.
Race control immediately deployed the red flag, while the Spanish rider returned to the pits apparently holding one of his hands. Further updates will follow.
