Davide Tardozzi commented on Marc Márquez’s crash during FP1: “He’s okay, but…”
Marc Marquez didn’t start his weekend well at his second home, Austin: the Spanish rider suffered a dangerous crash at Turn 10, likely due to track bumps, putting his safety at risk.
He returned to the pits holding his hand, suggesting an impact to his upper body.
Tardozzi explained Marquez’s condition to Sky Sport Italia: “How is Marc? Let’s say he’s okay… he has a severe abrasion on his right forearm and another significant one on the left palm. We treated, cleaned, and covered everything. Dr. Charte confirmed he’s fit to ride if he wants to.”
In pain but able to continue: after about twenty minutes of treatment in the garage, the Spanish rider went back out on track.
