Here are the results from FP1 at the MotoGP round in Austin, including a heavy crash for Marc Márquez.
After the Brazilian GP, the MotoGP circus moves to Texas for the new weekend at the Circuit of the Americas, with Marco Bezzecchi and Aprilia leading the championship standings.
Session Results
The fastest lap went to Pedro Acosta in 2:01.715, with the KTM staying on top thanks to the talent of rider #37. Behind him are five Italian bikes, from Aprilia and Ducati, with Di Giannantonio and Jorge Martin in 2nd and 3rd place.
Fourth was Marc Márquez, though he suffered a heavy crash (see his condition here). Francesco Bagnaia finished 11th but has so far shown good form.
