Here are the results from MotoGP qualifying at the Circuit of the Americas: another Italian 1-2 with Di Giannantonio and Bezzecchi, while Bagnaia also delivers a strong performance.
The show at COTA is guaranteed, and this qualifying session was no exception. Taking pole position was Fabio Di Giannantonio, followed by Marco Bezzecchi, securing an all-Italian 1-2.
Third fastest was Pedro Acosta, ahead of a strong and improved Francesco Bagnaia. The #63 missed out on the front row due to traffic but still secured a solid fourth place.
Also performing well was Joan Mir in fifth, while Marc Márquez finished sixth. Here are the final results:
Q1 results
Fermín Aldeguer and Joan Mir advanced from Q1. The #54 dominated the session and secured a spot in Q2 alongside Honda. Disappointment for Franco Morbidelli, who finished 20th, while Álex Rins ended at the back of the grid.
