An incredible finale in the USA: Guido Pini wins the Moto3 Grand Prix at Austin in the last corner!
After 1,274 days, an Italian rider returns to the top step in Moto3 in dramatic fashion. Pini overtook his rivals in the final meters at the Circuit of the Americas, to secure a stunning victory.
The win was built lap after lap, with constant position changes and a tightly packed leading group until the end. Pini timed his decisive move perfectly, taking advantage of the final opportunity to claim the race.
The Race: Pini Takes the Lead at the Last Corner
At the start, Álvaro Carpe led the pack, followed by Valentin Perrone and Máximo Quiles, while Pini dropped a few positions in the opening meters, moving into the midfield of the leading group. As the race progressed, he steadily worked his way back into contention for the podium.
Mid-race, Quiles tried to break away multiple times, but Pini, Perrone, and Carpe remained closely matched.
In the final two laps, tension reached its peak: Perrone and Carpe seemed locked in a duel for first, while Pini, in fourth at the time, was already in striking distance of the top three.
Then in the last corner, the decisive moment came: the front riders battled aggressively, while Pini seized the opportunity, passing both and taking the win in a spectacular finale.
