WorldSBK Superpole Race in Portimão: Bulega wins, Oliveira on the podium again

The final day of the Portuguese weekend gets underway: Nicolò Bulega continues to dominate, with strong performances also from Iker Lecuona and Miguel Oliveira. Here are the results of the short race.

At the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, Nicolò Bulega remains unbeatable: so far, the Aruba team rider has taken all the available points. At 14:30, Race 2 will start as he looks to confirm this dominance once again. But first, here are the results of the WorldSBK Superpole Race in Portimão.

The results

Nicolò Bulega remains unbeaten, followed by his teammate Iker Lecuona. On the podium as well is Miguel Oliveira, who is trying to improve on yesterday’s Race 1 by aiming for second place, but for now it’s not happening. The Lowes twins also confirm their speed, while Montella (6th) struggles a bit compared to the start of the weekend.

Xavi Vierge (7th) is once again the best Yamaha rider on track, while Lorenzo Baldassarri drops back to 10th, overtaken by Axel Bassani and Álvaro Bautista.
