During periods without races, Ferrari filming day has now become a tradition. The calendar of the various tests across Italy has been revealed: here are all the dates
April will be a particularly difficult month for Formula One fans, but in Italy the Prancing Horse will try to reignite enthusiasm thanks to a series of tests with the SF-26 and the SF-24. The dates of the various Ferrari filming day and TPC sessions have been revealed in the last few hours.
The objective for Ferrari this month is clear: to reduce the gap to Mercedes and, at the same time, extend their advantage over McLaren and Red Bull Racing. To achieve this, it will be crucial to maximize track time with the SF-26, and the FIA has already granted three different sessions to the Maranello-based team, useful both for keeping the reserve drivers sharp and for continuing the development of the car.
The first appointment is scheduled for the first two days of April: Antonio Giovinazzi, Arthur Leclerc, and Antonio Fuoco will take to the track at Mugello Circuit for a TPC session using a car from previous seasons, most likely the SF-24, as required by the regulations.
These tests will not be used to gather data directly relevant to the current season, but rather to keep the reserve drivers sharp in case they are needed

The second appointment is scheduled after Easter: according to AutoRacer, the SF-26 will hit the track on April 9 and 10 for wet tests at Fiorano. In this case, it is likely that Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc will be the ones driving the 2026 car. These wet track sessions will mainly serve Pirelli to collect data on tyres, but they will also offer Ferrari the opportunity to continue working on software and car setup.
The most anticipated test, however, remains the filming day at Monza: here Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton will take to the track on April 22 to complete the 200 km allowed by the FIA, with the aim of also evaluating the new updates just ten days before the Miami Grand Prix, scheduled for May 3.
This will be the most important proving ground for Ferrari, which is called to validate the work carried out in the wind tunnel and under the bodywork of the SF-26, with the objective of reducing the gap to Mercedes.
