As always, Imola stands out for its creativity and innovative ideas: here’s the latest one.
The WEC will begin its Prologue tomorrow. After the Qatar round was postponed (not cancelled for now) due to tensions in the Middle East, the top Endurance category will kick off at the Autodromo del Santerno.
Everything is ready in Imola to see engines back on track. It’s not only an opportunity to enjoy WEC action again, but also to experience one of the most legendary and beautiful circuits in the world.
Could the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari be unprepared? Of course not. And so, here comes the brilliant idea.
Incredible: Tortellini Appear at Imola!
You might think you read that wrong, but it’s true: tortellini and garganelli drawings have appeared on the kerbs at the Tosa corner. But why?
Imola decided to celebrate its Emilia-Romagna culinary tradition by drawing the two pasta types that shaped the history of the region. Marco Alpi added a local touch to the already painted Italian tricolour, using the opportunity to promote local cuisine to the world.
So, what do you think: do you like the idea of tortellini on the kerbs? Let us know on our social channels!
