Charles Leclerc stays determined and targets victory with Ferrari: these are his words on his future goals
Charles Leclerc is not completely satisfied despite Ferrari’s strong start to the season. The Monegasque driver points out that although the new SF-26 has shown important performances, there is still work to be done to close the gap that separates the Red team from Mercedes.
At the end of the first three races of the 2026 World Championship, Charles Leclerc’s personal haul stands at two podiums and a total of 49 points, which place him third in the drivers’ standings.
“Ferrari is a family and a team that I have always loved and that I have always wanted to drive for since I was a child,” says the #16. “And this has not changed in the slightest since I joined the team in 2019.”
“My passion is still here. Then, of course, there is the desire to win, and in the end we want to win. We have spent many years working with the team to try to get back to the top. This year we have made a good step forward, we’re simply not yet where we want to be, and we will continue to push in this direction.”
“I hope our moment comes soon because quite a lot of time has passed since I started. I’m doing my best and I hope it arrives this year or as soon as possible.” , the Monegasque concluded.
