MotoGP standings after Jerez: Alex makes a comeback, Aprilia solid

The first European round of the calendar comes to an end: Alex Márquez returns to victory, Aprilia performs strongly, but it’s a disaster for the official Ducati team.

After yesterday’s one-two finish in the Sprint Race, Ducati falls back into crisis: Marc Márquez crashes and Pecco Bagnaia suffers technical problems. However, there are smiles in the Gresini team, with Alex taking victory again right here in Jerez. Aprilia is outstanding, with four bikes in the top six positions: once again proving it is the manufacturer to beat. Here’s how the MotoGP standings have changed after the Spanish weekend.
