Charles Leclerc finished third in the Miami Sprint Race, behind the two McLarens.
The Miami Sprint Race has just concluded with Charles Leclerc finishing third behind the two McLarens of Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri. The Monegasque Ferrari driver, after strenuously defending his position from Andrea Kimi Antonelli’s attempts, put pressure on Piastri’s McLaren, especially in the final laps, but was unable to find the right opening and speed to attempt an attack on his rival.
The Monegasque driver had these words after the race: “The updates worked perfectly. Thanks to the team, who have done a tremendous job over these five weeks. I’m not satisfied with third place. We would have liked to be higher up, but McLaren has also made important updates and made a big step forward, so we’re not that far off. If we put all the elements together, we can start from a slightly higher position.”
