Ferrari achieved the maximum in Canada with Lewis Hamilton finishing a splendid second, while Charles Leclerc, despite the difficulties, finished fourth.
Ferrari emerged from the Montreal weekend with the maximum. Despite an uncatchable Mercedes, the Prancing Horse capitalized on the race stages with a Lewis Hamilton in great form (second after a thrilling duel with Max Verstappen), while Charles Leclerc, struggling all weekend, limited the damage to take a very important fourth place, especially in terms of morale.

The Maranello team confirms it has an excellent chassis and a strong aerodynamic base (perhaps the best on the grid), but the significant engine deficit compared to the competition could jeopardize its performance even later in the season, as it awaits the very fast circuits such as Spa, Monza, and Baku. Over the next two weeks, the FIA will carefully evaluate all the data and will issue a statement on the much-vaunted ADUO, including the appropriate percentages of intervention.
Fred Vasseur, speaking with Ferrari’s TP, commented on the matter: “Honestly, I didn’t think we’d be so competitive here in Canada ADUO? Vedremo la posizione della FIA nei prossimi giorni. Noi dobbiamo concentrarci su Monaco, una pista speciale in cui servirà fare un lavoro particolare e un approccio diverso. Poi ci sarà la Spagna. Ma noi stiamo spingendo tantissimo in fabbrica per migliorare le prestazioni della macchina in ogni weekend e speriamo che dalla Spagna ci sia un grosso passo avanti”.
