The amusing predictions for Spain-Italy: Carlos Sainz “bets” on 2-1

Predictions for Spain-Italy

Mara Sangiorgio, speaking on behalf of the FIA during the press conference, asked the drivers: “We are in Spain and it’s an exciting day for the Italy-Spain match tonight. What are your predictions for the game?”

Carlos Sainz was the first to respond: “A Spanish guy in an Italian team… and tonight we will also have a team dinner at Ferrari with a big screen! To be honest, there are several Spanish guys in the Scuderia, and it will be fun to watch the game together. Obviously, I will support Spain, and I think we will win 2-1 with a goal at the end.”, he ended.

Fernando Alonso then took the stage, making a very bold prediction: “I renew the same prediction as Carlos, Spain will win. With what score? Well… I think it will end 21-3!quipped the Asturian driver from Oviedo, who raced for Ferrari from 2010 to 2013, with his last Formula 1 victory occurring in Spain in 2013.

The predictions clearly favor the Iberian team: will the Azzurri be able to overturn the prediction and triumph, thus securing early access to the Round of 16 of EURO2024? The answer will come from the field at 9:00 PM.
