Enrico Cardile’s move to Aston Martin is official: he will be the new Chief Technical Officer.

Following his resignation from his role at Scuderia Ferrari, the Italian engineer Enrico Cardile’s move to Aston Martin has been officially announced, alongside the new CEO Andy Cowell.

The news of Enrico Cardile’s departure from Scuderia Ferrari was announced yesterday, while today it was made public that he will take on the role of Chief Technical Officer within Lawrence Stroll’s team. It is quite well-known and evident that the Silverstone team is trying to make a series of moves to create a dream team in preparation for the 2026 changes. The latest move is the entry of Enrico Cardile as Chief Technical Officer starting from the beginning of 2025. The Italian engineer has been one of the most loyal figures to the Maranello Scuderia for twenty years. He will now be temporarily replaced by the Team Principal of the Scuderia, Frederic Vasseur.
