Following the announcement with the VR46 team, now comes the one with the rider: MotoGP will see Fabio Di Giannantonio in Ducati for the 2025-26 biennium, with the official Desmosedici
Double announcement from Ducati: after confirming Pramac’s departure from the Borgo Panigale team, and subsequently VR46’s announcement of becoming a partner team from 2025, comes the confirmation of the riders, with Fabio Di Giannantonio set to be an official Ducati rider for both 2025 and 2026, making him the third official Desmosedici on the track.

Thus, VR46 will see the Roman rider on track with the GP25 and GP26 for another two years. He will likely be joined by Franco Morbidelli, as inadvertently announced by Davide Tardozzi during the Silverstone weekend, which was dominated by Enea Bastianini.
Regarding Ducati, the number of official bikes on the track will decrease from four to three: the two Pramac bikes will be “removed,” while the VR46 team will have only one official bike in the garage.
