The long autumn break of three weeks finally comes to an end: Formula 1 is back on track, moving from Singapore to the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. COTA, a Marvel in Texas

The Circuit of the Americas (COTA) in Austin, Texas, has been a staple in the Formula 1 calendar for 12 years: inaugurated in 2012, this circuit features 5.5 km of undulating asphalt with 20 corners of varying speeds. The first corner, with one of the steepest climbs in the entire championship, is the true iconic point of the track. Not to be missed, however, are the snake-like turns 3-4-5 and turn 12, a deep braking zone following a long 1.2-kilometer straight.

Beyond its technical aspects, the Circuit of the Americas is known for the “American” atmosphere that permeates during race weekends. Located just a few kilometers from downtown Austin, the track has also become emblematic for the 56-meter tall tower situated between turns 17 and 18, a strategic point to observe nearly the entire circuit.
