Charles Leclerc seems to have not enjoyed the Sprint today: between the battle with Sainz and the risk at the end with Norris, the Monegasque appeared angry
It wasn’t exactly the best possible Sprint for Charles Leclerc, finishing 4th. Not only did he make comments about his teammate to Sky Sport, stating that “the fight with Sainz affected me, with a different approach compared to mine; his approach paid off, but I don’t want to go into detail about the fight.”

According to Canal+, Charles Leclerc reportedly threw his helmet after leaving the FIA offices right after the Austin Sprint Race, particularly upset.
The reasons behind the Monegasque’s reaction are not yet clear, but it seems more likely that his outburst was due to Norris’s maneuver at the end rather than the tough but fair battle with his teammate Sainz.
The dynamics are still to be clarified, pending qualifying at 00:00.
