The words of the Scuderia Maranello CEO regarding the chances of winning the F1 Constructors’ Championship.
Benedetto Vigna, CEO of Ferrari, spoke about the current season of the Prancing Horse. It has been more than a satisfactory championship for Ferrari, in fact, a decidedly positive one considering the five wins achieved in 21 races and the possibility of battling McLaren for the Constructors’ Championship.
The Brazilian race, where Ferrari didn’t shine, turned out to be better than expected in terms of results, with McLaren gaining only 7 points over the Prancing Horse, which is now just 36 points behind the Woking-based team. In just over two weeks, F1 will head to Las Vegas, a circuit that Ferrari is particularly fond of, as confirmed by Charles Leclerc‘s second-place finish last season.
The goal, therefore, remains the same: to fight until the very last kilometer to secure a title that has been absent for 16 years. Benedetto Vigna described the current moment with the following words: “In Formula 1, the recent victories and improvements we achieved in Austin and Mexico City have given us the necessary push to keep fighting in the final races of the season, always keeping the four wheels on the road. The team remains focused and united, pushing until the last lap in Abu Dhabi.”
