An agreement has been reached between the Scottish whisky brand and Ferrari: Chivas Regal becomes Ferrari’s new sponsor starting from the Las Vegas Grand Prix
F1 is set to return soon. After a two-week break, the series will head back to the United States on the weekend of November 22–24. After the thrilling race in Austin, where Ferrari secured a victory and a double podium finish a few weeks ago, the circus will arrive in Nevada, at Las Vegas, for the second edition of a GP on the streets of the “City of Casinos.” This is a crucial race for Ferrari, which urgently needs to secure a win after losing some points to McLaren in the torrential rain of São Paulo. The points to recover from the Woking team stand at just 36, and at Maranello, there is full confidence that they can still fight for the title.
In Las Vegas, many are already considering the Scuderia as a favorite, especially due to the characteristics of the American track, which features long straights mixed with slow corners and heavy braking zones—elements that, on paper and as confirmed by team principal Vasseur and the drivers, should favor the SF-24. However, Ferrari’s optimism remains cautious, with the awareness that any misstep could hand the decisive match point to McLaren, perhaps already in Qatar.
The important night event in Nevada will feature some novelties for Ferrari. In addition to a possible new livery, which had already been hinted at last season with some white highlights, there is also the possibility of a penalty for Charles Leclerc, who may follow Carlos Sainz in replacing his engine. Sainz, after his crash in qualifying in Brazil, had replaced his engine and started from the pit lane. However, today’s news brings an exciting economic development for Ferrari: the team will feature a new sponsor on the SF-24 in Las Vegas—the Scottish whisky brand, “Chivas Regal”.
The partnership between Chivas Regal and Ferrari
