“Faster, Forward, Fearless”: MotoGP officially unveils its new logo.

On the occasion of the Gala evening for the awards ceremony, MotoGP officially unveiled its new logo for the 2025 season.

There’s a sense of change in the air for MotoGP. Yesterday, the season officially came to a close with Jorge Martin’s first World Championship in the premier class, along with the already-announced victories of Ogura in Moto2 and Davide Alonso in Moto3. During the grand Awards Gala, MotoGP revealed its new logo, marking the official start of a new era.

“Faster Forward, Fearless”: this is the phrase, or rather, the motto, featured in the new MotoGP logo that will officially come into effect in the 2025 season. According to the official press release from the world’s top motorsport category, the new logo was created in collaboration with Pentagram, the world’s largest independent design studio.

As stated in the release, “the new MotoGP™ speaks to both fans who have already fallen in love with this championship over its more than 75 years of history and to those who have yet to be captivated by it.

Fans are the driving force behind the new identity. The ‘M’ in the MotoGP™ logo is inspired by two bikes leaning into a corner, side by side. The ‘O’s reflect the geometry of the wheels, and the ‘T’ represents the rider. Man and technology, therefore. Meanwhile, ‘GP’ evokes the track, conveying character and energy, in line with the sport.”

Angus Hyland, creative director and partner at Pentagram, shared his thoughts: “Working on the new identity for MotoGP™ has been an incredible honor. It was fantastic to collaborate with the MotoGP™ team to reimagine such an iconic logo. It was impossible not to get caught up in the excitement of the racing and the people who are part of it. We hope fans around the world will embrace the new look and the new sensations it will convey.”

During the presentation, Carmelo Ezpeleta, CEO of Dorna Sports, also spoke “We are very happy to unveil our new identity and invite fans around the world to discover the new MotoGP. Working with Pentagram has been a great adventure, resulting in what we hope our fans will consider an extraordinary outcome. A brand is more than just a logo, just as MotoGP™ is more than a sport.

This process has taught us a lot about both, and now we are proud to show the results to the world. We asked ourselves: what is MotoGP™? We reflected on who we are and who we want to become. We hope this new identity communicates that in every way. There is speed, there is passion. This is MotoGP.”
