The charge in Charles Leclerc’s team radio, as the Monegasque finished in third place at the Abu Dhabi race.
Charles Leclerc finished in third place at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix after an incredible comeback. Starting from 19th due to battery issues and a qualifying penalty, the Monegasque driver delivered an impressive performance, securing a podium finish behind Norris and Sainz. However, this result wasn’t enough for Ferrari to win the Constructors’ Championship, with the Maranello team finishing 13 points behind McLaren.
Immediately after the race, Charles Leclerc rallied the team for 2025, with these words in his team radio: “It hurts. This one really hurts. Thank you all for the efforts made this season. It wasn’t enough, but next year it will be, I’m sure of it. Thanks again for never giving up. Not winning the title really hurts. I wanted so much to make it, especially to finish this chapter with Sainz. I wish him all the best. I’m sorry that what we achieved today wasn’t enough.”
It has been a very positive season for Charles Leclerc from a personal perspective, with three wins (Monaco, Monza, and Austin) and a total of thirteen podium finishes, a record for the Monegasque driver. He finished third in the Drivers’ Championship with 356 points.
