Ferrari, Leclerc: “A round of applause to the entire team, proud of our season.”

Charles Leclerc answered questions from the media, analyzing the recently concluded season, with the words of the Monegasque driver.

The 2024 Formula 1 season has just concluded with McLaren winning the Constructors’ Championship. It was a fight that lasted until the final race against Ferrari, reminiscent of the intense battles from the peak years of a rivalry that has never gone beyond being sporting and fair, as confirmed by the words of the various protagonists.

Ferrari, Leclerc: “A round of applause to the entire team, proud of our season.”

One of these figures was certainly Charles Leclerc, who finished third in the Drivers’ Championship with three wins and many podium finishes. It was a stellar season for the Ferrari Monegasque driver, who, speaking to the media, discussed his 2024 season and that of the team.

Charles’ words: “I’m very happy because I think the first part of the season wasn’t easy. We definitely weren’t the fastest car. We struggled with performance. In the second half of the season, we did an incredible job, especially in improving the car’s pace. We gained a lot of pace. We were much closer to the guys ahead, and in some races, we were probably the fastest car, and that’s thanks to the Maranello team, thanks to Carlos, thanks to me, and to the track team for doing a fantastic job with the new updates.”

Leclerc then added: “But I think the highlight of this season was definitely the execution. Because fighting for the Constructors’ Championship at the end of the year, until the last race, considering the performances we had in the first part of the year, that’s where I think we did a particularly good job. I’m very proud.”
