Lewis Hamilton edges closer to Italy and Maranello: here’s when the Briton might make his debut in red
Lewis Hamilton’s debut with Ferrari is drawing near. Following the announcement that Ferrari will unveil its 2025 car on February 19, a day after the London showcase, it seems there’s already a date for Hamilton’s “first time” with the Prancing Horse.
The 7-time world champion is expected to make his debut at Fiorano between January 21 and 22, according to Autoracer. The Briton will then test the car at both the Barcelona and Bahrain sessions before hitting the track for the 2025 season.
Weather remains an uncertainty given the time of year. Ferrari, however, has a Plan B, with the possibility of relocating to Mugello or even Imola. Should adverse weather affect the entire region, Hamilton’s debut would be postponed to January 23 or later.
