What is F1 Esports?
F1 Esports is the official esports competition linked to Formula 1, where virtual drivers from around the globe compete on state-of-the-art simulators using the official F1 video game (this year, F1 24). Launched in 2017 (with Brendon Leigh as the first champion), it has grown into a cult phenomenon for fans, who are now as passionate about the virtual side of the sport as they are about real-world racing.
