Liam Lawson shared his thoughts on joining Red Bull: “I’ll help the team win the Constructors’ Championship”
It’s probably the news of the month, ending a dilemma that has dragged on for months: Liam Lawson will partner Max Verstappen in 2025, leaving Sergio Perez without a seat for the first time since 2011.
The 2002-born driver from Hastings, who grew up in the Red Bull academy, will clearly benefit from the situation. After competing in just eleven Formula 1 Grands Prix and scoring 6 points between AlphaTauri and Racing Bulls, he is now ready for the big leap alongside Max Verstappen, the current “King” of Formula 1.
Liam Lawson’s words
Speaking to The Times, Liam Lawson said this about the four-time world champion: “I’ll do my best to help the team win the Constructors’ Championship. Honestly, what excites me most is knowing that this guy[Max]is the best, he’s won the last four championships and is regarded as the best Formula 1 driver in the world.”
“I get to analyze his data from every single session: every practice, qualifying, and race. I have access to everything to see exactly how he does what he does. There’s no one better to learn from” , Lawson concluded.
