Carlos Sainz made some interesting statements about his former teammate during an interview with Marca.
Carlos Sainz has officially said goodbye to Ferrari, after four intense seasons, to join Williams. This week, the Spaniard visited Fiorano to drive the F1-75, a 2022 car, alongside his father for a truly unforgettable moment.
The Scuderia from Maranello also gifted Carlos Sainz the 2022 car, a significant gesture of gratitude for all that the Madrid-born driver achieved during his four years with the team. The Williams driver, in an interview with Marca, spoke about his time at Ferrari, focusing on his relationship with Charles Leclerc.
Here are the Spaniard’s words: “I can say that with Charles, both on and off the track, we get along really well and have a lot of fun. We have great conversations. I think we talk about any topic you can imagine. On track, we had our differences, our rivalries, our fantastic weekends and the more difficult ones, but we always managed to be honest with each other. We always made sure that the car never suffered a scratch.”
