The 23 Riders Academy has been officially launched, a motorcycle racing school dedicated to the late Luca Salvadori
It was September 14, 2024: the entire motorsport world was shaken by a tragedy that marked a turning point for younger generations in Italy connected to social media and their favorite content creators. Luca Salvadori, aged 32, passed away in Leipzig, leaving an unfillable void. Over 10,000 people attended his funeral to bid him a final farewell.
To honor his memory, an academy has been established in dedication to the Milanese rider. It is named the “23 Riders Academy” and follows an all-inclusive “soccer school” style formula. Young riders, aged 7 to 18, will only need to bring their bags to attend this “motorcycle school.”
Words from the Founder, Bruno Sandrini
The initiative was organized by Bruno Sandrini, who shared the following remarks with Corsedimoto: “The Academy is inspired by the soccer school model, offering a fully inclusive and stress-free experience. The kids only need to show up at the circuit for training and focus on learning and practicing. We’ll take care of everything else, providing motorcycles, complete technical gear (full suits, integral helmets, back protectors, boots, and gloves), and qualified instructors.”
“Until his untimely passing in mid-September, I had the honor of managing Luca Salvadori. We shared the desire to bring a project like this to life, which we had planned to launch this year to bring as many young people as possible closer to our world. I am convinced that Luca, through his work as a communicator, inspired a passion for racing in many young people.”
“This Academy, named after him with the full support of his father, Maurizio Salvadori, aims to continue the great passion that fueled his entire life”, Sandrini added.
