Pecco Bagnaia, speaking on Mig Babol, shared his thoughts on the 2025 season: “It will be a peculiar season, but Ducati will be the bike to beat.”
Confident and composed, especially looking ahead to another season in which he’ll be a key player, Francesco “Pecco” Bagnaia is gearing up for another year of success with Ducati. The rider from Chivasso expressed his opinion on the upcoming MotoGP season, with a new teammate and many changes in team lineups.
Here’s what Pecco Bagnaia said about the season ahead on the Mig Babol podcast: “In my opinion, it will be a peculiar season because many riders are switching teams, and Ducati will still be the bike to beat. There will be two fewer Ducatis and one less factory bike, so I think it will be a season where Marc and I will often finish at the front, very, very often.”
“I think there will also be the addition of Aprilia, which now has two riders (Bezzecchi and Martin, editor’s note) who, in my opinion, are very eager and will be strong, as well as KTM with Acosta and Binder. We’ll see if Vinales and Enea Bastianini manage to find their rhythm with Tech3, but overall, I think the riders who will be at the front the most will be me, Marquez, Bez, Martin, and also Quartararo and Acosta.”
“Yamaha? I think they are making progress, improving significantly. And Aprilia now has two riders who I think will make the difference” , Bagnaia concluded.
