Frederic Vasseur analyzed Charles Leclerc’s previous season, where the Monegasque driver finished third in the drivers’ standings.
Ferrari’s 2024 season was a tale of two halves. The first half was marked by more difficulties, while there was a clear improvement after the summer break. The updates introduced in August allowed Ferrari to secure three victories (in addition to the two in Melbourne and Monaco) and regained confidence looking ahead to the upcoming season.
There have been many changes within the Scuderia Ferrari, starting with the driver lineup, as Lewis Hamilton will take Carlos Sainz’s place alongside Charles Leclerc. The Monegasque driver was at the center of an interview with Frederic Vasseur, who was asked about the season that ended a month ago.
The Team Principal of the Scuderia highlighted the improvements made by Ferrari’s number 16. Here are his words: “I think he had a good season. At least I can compare it to last year: we were fast, and that was probably the car’s strongest characteristic in qualifying, but we struggled a lot in the race. If I see a difference, it’s that he is much more present in management when it’s needed.”
