The Scuderia Ferrari Esports is ready to defend its championship in 2025: here are the drivers the Prancing Horse will rely on.
Ferrari decides to continue on the winning path in 2024: just one week before the start of the 2025 F1 Esports Series season, Scuderia Ferrari has confirmed its lineup consisting of Broumand and Longuet for the new season. Let’s take a closer look, driver by driver, at the faces of the new team from Maranello.
Bari Broumand
Bari Broumand, whose full name is Bardia Broumandgohar, was born in 2003 in Iran. Passionate about sports from a young age, he played football and basketball, but the world of motorsport represented his true calling. At the age of six, he first got behind the wheel of a go-kart, and quickly won the national title seven times.
He made his debut in the F1 Esports Series in 2020 with the Mercedes team at the Chinese Grand Prix, but it was the following year, with McLaren Shadow, that he really showcased his talent with a promising fifth place in the 2021 championship and fourth in 2022. He has two pole positions and one victory to his name.
Nicolas Longuet
Nicolas Longuet, a French-Italian born in 2002 in Torino, Italy, is, despite his young age, a true veteran of the Esports scene. Always passionate about motorsports, he decided to dedicate himself to simulator racing in 2018, becoming vice-champion of France and earning a spot in the F1 Esports Prodraft.
The following year, he made his debut in the F1 Esports Series with the Red Bull Racing team, becoming, at 17, the youngest driver to ever step onto the podium. In the following years, he raced for Renault, Alpine, and Alfa Romeo, securing three victories, six pole positions, and also finishing fourth in the 2020 championship.
John Evans
Born in 2004, John Evans initially competed in football and golf as a child before starting to race in sim racing in 2017. He was a prominent figure on the Xbox platform in his early years, later transitioning to PC sim racing in 2019 with the F1 game, and participating in the F1 Esports Challengers Series in 2022.
In the same year, he joined the Aston Martin team, competing in the F1 Sim Racing World Championship in 2022 and the 2023/2024 season. Starting in 2025, he will be part of the Scuderia Ferrari HP Esports Team lineup as the third driver.
Ferrari, here are the three engineers
In addition to the drivers, the team will also have three track engineers who, together with the drivers, will aim to replicate last year’s success: Ben Goldie, Jonah Martens, and Christian Blok.
