“New year, new season, new beginnings, same crew. Training in progress,” wrote Pierre Gasly on his Instagram profile, referring to this final stage of preparation for the 2025 season. This year, Gasly will take on the role of true team leader at Alpine following Esteban Ocon’s departure.
And what has particularly caught the attention of the French driver’s fans is Gasly’s new haircut: a radical change in style for the 28-year-old from Rouen, who has opted for a complete buzz cut, a stark contrast to the signature hairstyle he sported in the past.
Perhaps this new look will also bring good fortune for what promises to be a pivotal season for him. After an impressive 2024, highlighted by his podium finish in Brazil and completing the season without any crashes, Gasly will need a top-tier 2025 to lead Alpine forward and possibly secure a spot with a top team for Formula 1’s new era.
