The new Williams driver made his way to the factory on January 15, five days ahead of number 44’s arrival in Maranello.
According to GPBlog, the Spanish driver will have the opportunity to test the new Williams FW47 (set to be unveiled on Valentine’s Day) on February 25, just one day before the official Formula 1 tests in Bahrain.
However, it won’t be a traditional test: Sainz and Albon will hit the track for the standard filming day, with the 200 kilometers permitted by the sporting regulations.Williams won’t be the only team opting for this date: two other Mercedes-powered teams, Aston Martin and the Brackley squad itself, will also be at the circuit on the same day.
