Among the various images posted on Ferrari’s social media, one photo in particular (shown above) caught attention before being taken down, as pointed out by our friend Lollinoba. It featured Lewis Hamilton in conversation with Ferrari President John Elkann outside Fiorano. But what led to its removal?

The Italian entrepreneur was wearing Adidas shoes, which clashed with the team’s sponsor, Puma, a partner of both Lewis Hamilton and Ferrari. The two brands, famously in competition, were founded by brothers Adolf and Rudolf Dassler.

Hamilton Shares His Joy After His First Day

I’m thrilled to begin this new chapter and to meet and work alongside such talented and inspiring people who have warmly welcomed me.”
