The post marking Lewis Hamilton’s first day at Ferrari has already become so iconic that it was parodied by Racing Bulls and their new driver, Isack Hadjar, within just a few hours.

January 20 has become an iconic date for motorsport and for Italy. This morning, Lewis Hamilton made his first official appearance in Maranello, with a photo that turned iconic in mere minutes.

Almost simultaneously, a few hundred kilometers further north, Ducati officially unveiled Marc Marquez in the official suit and bike for 2025.

Two motorsport legends who command massive fanbases around the world are now officially drivers for two of the most legendary Italian manufacturers of all time. This moment didn’t go unnoticed: other teams couldn’t help but react.

This was the case for Racing Bulls, who, just hours after the joint post by Hamilton and Ferrari, shared their own version on social media featuring rookie Isack Hadjar. “There are certain days you know you’ll remember forever, and today, my first day as a Ferrari driver, is one of them,” read the opening line of Hamilton’s Instagram caption under a photo of himself in a black coat in front of Enzo Ferrari’s house in Maranello.

The Faenza-based team mirrored this exact caption in their post, featuring Hadjar in front of their headquarters, wearing a black coat photoshopped over the team’s uniform. It was a lighthearted way to introduce the 20-year-old Frenchman, who naturally carries different expectations compared to the ex-Mercedes star.
