Tomorrow, Ferrari’s tests will begin in Barcelona, with Leclerc and Hamilton on the Catalan track.
Today, Ferrari officially unveiled the suits that Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc will wear during the 2025 season. The feeling was confirmed, as the Maranello team, through a cryptic post published yesterday, had “teased” the first photo of the two new teammates together.
From social media to the track, as tomorrow Ferrari will begin its week of testing in Barcelona in preparation for the highly anticipated new season. The official FIA regulations state that these tests must be conducted with cars from previous years, with a total of 1,000 km per team.
Leclerc and Hamilton will therefore split the three days in Barcelona, completing the remaining 870 km, with each having the opportunity to drive for the equivalent of one and a half Spanish Grand Prix distances. There is much curiosity surrounding these tests, especially since, as confirmed by Duchessa, there is an air of deep optimism within Ferrari ahead of the season, which will officially kick off on February 26 with the Bahrain tests.
But that’s not all—Lewis Hamilton will have the chance to drive the Ferrari for an additional two days. On February 4 and 5, the seven-time world champion will take to the track with the SF-24 for Pirelli tests, where he will try out the 2026 prototype tires.
