This crash, unfortunately, marked Grosjean’s last race in Formula 1, as the Geneva-born driver was already set to leave the sport at the end of that season.

Despite a recent policy to avoid broadcasting images of severe crashes (especially fatal ones), Formula 1 has still decided to share these scenes with the public. Grosjean’s Haas, car number 8, is now on display and accessible to all motorsport enthusiasts and beyond.
