Tomorrow, Scuderia Ferrari will hit the track once again, but this time with Antonio Giovinazzi and Dino Beganovic behind the wheel.
With today’s afternoon session, the private TPC test phase for Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton in Barcelona has officially come to an end. The testing began yesterday morning with Leclerc on track, followed by the afternoon session featuring the seven-time world champion. Today, the two swapped roles, but Hamilton suffered an accident at 11:00 AM, causing significant damage to the SF-23.
While the testing ends for the two official drivers, Ferrari’s on-track activities continue. As reported by Autoracer, both Antonio Giovinazzi, Ferrari’s third driver, and Dino Beganovic, last year’s FIA Formula 3 Championship contender and future Formula 2 driver, will take to the track tomorrow.
This schedule was planned well in advance and is unrelated to today’s crash. Ferrari had already arranged for this driver swap on the third day, with Hamilton and Leclerc still having one more TPC test day available during the 2025 season.
