Another day of MotoGP testing in Sepang, with Pecco Bagnaia once again focusing on key details of his Ducati GP25. Engine and braking were at the top of the list for the Italian rider, who ended the second day of testing with the fifth-fastest time, improving on his 16th position from yesterday.

At the end of the session, the world champion spoke to the microphones, describing his feelings. Here are Pecco’s words: “The new engine is smoother compared to the GP24, which was more abrupt. Today, we worked to try to improve the braking, we did comparisons with the GP24. We’ve gotten closer, but we’re still not at the same level as the 24. I also did a comparison for the fairing; it has some ‘uncomfortable’ points compared to the standard one, but it also has some advantages when it comes to braking.”

Tomorrow will be the third and final part of the pre-season tests, where both Bagnaia and Marquez will be back on track with Ducati. These are crucial moments for the upcoming two-year period, especially with the regulatory changes set to debut in 2027.
