Marco Bezzecchi was the only full-time Aprilia rider to take to the track today, completing 61 laps.
The second day of MotoGP testing in Sepang has concluded, with Marco Bezzecchi being the only Aprilia rider on track. The injury suffered by Martin yesterday has disrupted the Italian team’s plans, which now has to work with only one full-time rider ahead of the season’s start.
Bezzecchi completed 61 laps, finishing the second day of testing in ninth place. The rider from Romagna appeared satisfied, as highlighted by his comments to Sky Sport: “It was an important day, we did good work. We’re continuing to develop different aspects of the electronics, aerodynamics, and, in general, many new elements of the RS-GP25. On this second day, we got good results, so I’m very happy.
Of course, there are still many things to test, but we have another day available, and we’ll try to make the most of it. It’s a shame about Jorge’s injury, I hope he can return to the box soon.”
