“The Red Bull changes livery? The clue that could make Max Verstappen happy”

When asked about the topic months ago, Verstappen had expressed the desire to see a different livery on the Red Bull, and in 2025, he might get his wish.

These are months of great change for Red Bull. After winning the 2024 drivers’ championship with a masterpiece by Max Verstappen, the Austrian team is revamping its racing department with an eye on what will happen in 2026, when they will collaborate with Ford.

Red Bull’s change could also involve the livery, and considering the past seasons, it could be the most significant one yet. In recent months, when asked about the topic, Max Verstappen had expressed himself clearly: “The livery? I hope it’s a bit different. We’ve had so many matte blue cars, but I think sometimes it’s nice to change things up a bit.”

The indirect request from the four-time world champion could be granted, as during the collective presentation on February 18 in London, Red Bull might reveal important changes regarding the shade of blue that will accompany Verstappen and Lawson’s cars in the 2025 season. The first taste of the track will take place in Bahrain on February 26, and through a post on its social media channels, the Austrian team hinted that the blue might resemble the one used by AlphaTauri from 2020 to 2023.

On February 18, we will find out whether Red Bull will change its distinctive livery after so many years or if Max Verstappen (and his many followers) will have to wait a little longer.
