Following Doriane Pin’s contract renewal with PREMA, Tina Hausmann has also been confirmed to remain with the Italian team, backed by Aston Martin.

The saying “never change a winning team” seems to apply perfectly to PREMA, which, after confirming Doriane Pin, has now announced the decision to retain Tina Hausmann for the lineup of the third edition of F1 Academy. However, one seat still remains open within the trio of drivers that the Italian team will field in the upcoming season of the all-female championship. At the end of last year, the Swiss driver secured a top-10 finish in the Drivers’ Championship, coming close to a podium finish in the final race in Abu Dhabi.

Looking back on the incredible opportunity of competing in the 2024 F1 Academy series for the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team with PREMA Racing, countless precious and unforgettable moments come to mind. Being behind the wheel and pushing the limits on seven iconic circuits around the world felt like a dream come true. The learning curve was steep and culminated in a strong result in the final race, ” Hausmann recalled during the announcement of her renewal, which will see her continue to represent Lawrence Stroll’s team.

Aston Martin Aramco supported me throughout the journey like a true family. Being able to race for a second year in the series with Aston Martin Aramco and PREMA Racing—two incredible teams committed to competing at the highest level—means a lot to me. I want to thank everyone who made this possible. The relentless support of fans worldwide has fueled me with the energy to push forward, ” she continued, highlighting how both teams have supported her during her first year in the championship led by Susie Wolff.

Additionally, Jessica Hawkins will continue her role as Head of F1 Academy for Aston Martin, maintaining her collaboration with Tina Hausmann: “I am really excited to continue working with Tina in 2025 as she embarks on her second year in F1 Academy. Over the past season, she has grown tremendously, gaining valuable experience and developing both her skills and confidence on track. I have no doubt that she will take everything she has learned and channel it into a strong, competitive campaign this year. I look forward to seeing her achieve new milestones as she builds on the solid foundation she has already established“.
